New World Symphony

Hihi. Anyway just couldn't think of much to blog about, so I might as well
tell you what happened sometime back on the 7th of April (What a 'short' time!)
ACS (I) organised this concert for us to increase our knowledge of the orchestra. It was the New World Symphony at the Esplanade Concert Hall. Anyway we gathered at the concourse, where since the vice-chairman was not there, I became the standing in vice-chair. The job is simple. Count Chickens. Ok, I don't think that my class are chickens (we are born in the chicken year what -.-! Personally I think of them as monkeys) Anywya for those who don't know, it is a figure of speech for counting the number of people at a certain place, like a head-count. Anyway some people did not turn up, some were not free, some were somewhere else representing the school? Anyway we have this guy called Winson Lim in our class, who is kinda gay, and talks to his water bottle all the time. But he is also very blur, so while we were there, we joked that he must have went to the Airport. You must know, that his directions were horrible, and I would not be surprised if he ended up in the bottom of the ocean if you were to send him out SCUBA- diving. Anyway it was a great concert, with a violin solo by this guy called Foo Say Ming. I got his autograph along with Samuel Ong during the intermission. I think we are the only 2 who actually went despite the queue. But I still managed to squeeze through the crowd and cut a few places. By the way I was in casual clothes, so it was okay. By the way there were people from other schools too. Dunman High, Hwa Chong Junior College and Victoria Junior College among the 450+ of ACSians. Although some of us slept through it (Bob slept throughout and snored) , I enjoyed the concert thoroughly and was also able to keep those awake with my smuggled Mentos....Lol I don't think there is anything else to say it there? Just that while most of us came in T-shirt and Jeans, David and Beng Teong came in shirt and long black pants, with David even donning a tie....Thats what I call kiasu la, so overdressed...
Gotta go!
Take care
